1.About these terms
These terms govern your use of comparano.eu and its country versions (the “Service”), operated by Comparano (“we”).
By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2.What Comparano is
Comparano is a comparison shopping service. We collect product and price data from online stores and affiliate networks, match it into product pages and let you compare offers.
We are not a seller, an agent of the stores or a party to any purchase. Every purchase is a contract between you and the store, under the store's own terms, prices, delivery conditions and return policy.
3.Prices and product information
We update prices several times a day but cannot guarantee that every price, availability or delivery cost is current or complete. The price shown at the store's checkout is the one that applies.
Product descriptions, images and specifications come from the stores and networks; we do not verify them individually. Offers are ranked by total price including delivery unless labelled otherwise; sponsored placements are always marked.
4.Clicking through to stores and affiliate links
When you click “Go to store” you leave the Service and enter the store's website, which has its own terms and privacy policy.
Links may be affiliate links: if you buy, the store pays us a commission through a network such as Awin, Rakuten, CJ, Impact or Tradedoubler. This does not change the price you pay and does not affect how offers are ranked. See our affiliate disclosure in the footer.
5.Price alerts
You may subscribe to email price alerts for a product without creating an account. We send a confirmation email first (double opt-in) and stop as soon as you unsubscribe via the link in any email.
Alerts are informational: a notified price may change before you reach the store. How we process your email address is described in the Privacy policy.
6.Using the Service
You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not: scrape, crawl or copy the catalogue beyond normal browsing; use automated tools to access the Service in bulk; bypass technical or access restrictions; submit spam, false information or third-party data through our forms; or interfere with the operation or security of the Service.
We may restrict or block access that breaches these rules.
7.Intellectual property
The Service — its design, software, texts, logos and the compilation of the catalogue — is owned by Comparano or its licensors and protected by copyright and database rights.
Product names, trademarks, images and descriptions belong to their respective owners and are shown for identification only. Any use of the Service beyond personal browsing requires our written permission.
8.Availability and changes to the Service
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including which stores, categories and countries are covered. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
9.Liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Comparano is not liable for inaccuracies in prices or product data; for the conduct, products, delivery or returns of any store; or for loss of profit or indirect damage arising from use of the Service.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for intentional misconduct or for damage caused to consumers by gross negligence.
10.Privacy and cookies
How we process personal data is described in the Privacy policy. Cookie preferences can be reviewed and changed at any time on the Cookie settings page.
11.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when we add features or when the law changes. The current version and its date are always shown at the top of this page.
Material changes are announced on the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.
12.Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Poland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
If you have a complaint, please contact us first — we aim to respond within 14 days. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Poland or, for consumers, the courts of their place of residence.
